Audiences
Introduction
Audiences within our promotion engine are finely tuned segments that enable precise customer outreach. These subsets let you craft tailored messages and promotions, ensuring resonance with specific customer characteristics, behaviours or preferences.
Setting Audiences up via SCAYLE Panel
In the SCAYLE Panel navigate to Shops and select the shop you want to create an audience for. On the left hand side menu select Promotion ➜ Audiences.
You will land on the Listing Page.
Here you will be able to see a list of existing Audiences, manage them and create new Audiences. On the Listing Page all Audiences are shown with Name, ID and short description.
Create a new Audience
- Select the Shop where you want to create your Audience and go to Promotions ➜ Audiences.
- Click the + NEW AUDIENCE button.
- In the Name field, type a name for the audience.
- In the Description field, type a meaningful explanation of what this audience is
- Select customers by ID, by clicking on +CUSTOMERS

- Hit create
Examples
Scenario 1: VIP users
This audience contains tour users that shop weekly.
Your SCAYLE Panel screen should look like the following:
HINT! Add users by Customer ID, in order to find Customer ID navigate to Shops ➜ Customers ➜ Search
Editing an Audience
Edit
- Select the Shop where you want to edit your audience and go to Promotions ➜ Audiences.
- Click the Edit button.
- Include/exclude Customer IDs
- Hit Update
Deleting an Audience
Delete
- Select the Shop where you want to edit your promotion and go to Promotions ➜ Audiences
- Click on the 3 vertical dots besides “Edit” > Delete
- Confirm on pop up
Note: Audiences can only be deleted if no active promotions are assigned to this audience
