Overview
SCAYLE add-ons offer custom modularity to add capabilities to SCAYLE according to your specific requirements.
Our add-ons include:
- Customer Service Add-on manage customer data, like order history, refunds and vouchers
- Omnichannel Add-on connect your physical stores and your online shop
- Subscription Add-on
- PIM create working packages with specific criteria to update product data
- Price Approvals easily view and apply price approvals with just a few clicks
- Block & Allowlist automatically block risky terms and allow them as needed
- Avalara Add-on integrates with AvaTax to allow for tax automation in the US
- Sitemap Add-on simplify the creation, management, and visualization of sitemaps
Activate & Deactivate Add-ons
Activate
By default, the Add-ons page will display the currently active add-ons. Inactive add-ons can be viewed by selecting the Inactive tab. To activate an Add-on click the Activate. The Add-on will then move to the Active list.
Deactivate
To deactivate an Add-on by click Deactivate, and it will be moved to Inactive. Deactivating an Add-on removes all related permissions from all roles. If you reactivate it, you will need to manually re-assign the roles. Therefore, a warning is displayed to confirm deactivation.
You can also activate/deactivate add-ons on the individual Add-on page.
Create Add-on
To create a new add-on:
- Go to ADD-ONS.
- Click + New.
Add-on settings include:
- General: Identifier, Version, Title and Description.
- Appearance: Icon (optional; hint: icon should have a transparent background), Background color.
- Apps: App URL, Visibility.
- Webhooks: Callback URL (optional).
- API Tokens: Where you can create tokens.
- Permissions: Permissions (for roles) and Additional Translations.
You can toggle Save As between Active and Inactive.

Edit Add-on
To edit details and parameters for an add-on, click Edit under Actions. This will take you to the edit page where you can view/update the settings (see Create Add-on ).
Once updates are complete, click Save (at the top right of the page) to apply the changes.
