Item Sets

Introduction

Item Sets are predefined groups of products that can be used as the basis for promotions. These sets allow you to target specific combinations of items when creating discounts or special offers. You can use item sets to streamline promotional rules and ensure consistent logic across campaigns.

Example: A “Summer Essentials” set that includes sunglasses, a beach towel, and sunscreen can be used in a 20% off promotion. A “Branded Collab set” can include all items you have partnered with a certain company to sell for a discounted price if purchased in a set.

Setting Item sets up via SCAYLE Panel

In the SCAYLE Panel navigate to Shops and select the shop you want to create an Item set for. On the left hand side menu select Promotion ➜ Item sets.

Here you will be able to see a list of existing Item sets, manage them and create new Item sets.

Create a new Item set

Select the Shop where you want to create your Audience and go to Promotions ➜ Item Sets.
Click the + NEW ITEM SET button.
In the Name field, type a name for the Item Set.
In the Description field, type a meaningful explanation of what this Item Set is
Select products by ID, by Categories or Attributes
Eligible Item Count specifies the number of items that must be purchased from an Item Set for a promotion to apply. If a promotion involves multiple Item Sets, the promotion is only valid when the defined Eligible Item Count is met for each Item Set

You can narrow products down by selecting only variants as well, if you decide to choose by product ID, and also specific attributes within attributes

Examples

Scenario 1: Branded collab set

You want to make an Item Set of all of your Adidas products in sales.

Your SCAYLE Panel screen should look like the following:

Hint: Add Products via specific products, Categories or attributes. In order to figure out your IDs navigate to Shops ➜ Customers ➜ Search.

Scenario 2: Cycling Essentials

You want to make an Item Set of all of your summer essentials, like bikes, water bottles, and a biking kit.

Your SCAYLE Panel screen should look like the following:

Deleting an Item set

Navigate to: Shops ➜ Promotions ➜ Item sets and locate the Item set you want to delete (you can use the search function)
Click on the delete button (trash can)
Confirm on pop up

Please note that an item set which is in use cannot be deleted. Furthermore, Item Sets cannot be edited.
