Prerequisites
Before starting the setup, ensure you have the necessary permissions to manage and view anonymized data in the SCAYLE Panel.
Even with correct permissions, once data is anonymized, it is replaced with
****
and will no longer be visible in the SCAYLE Panel.
Email Templates
Important: SCAYLE only enables email dispatching and does not provide legal guidance. All content must comply with GDPR communication standards. Please consult your legal team.
Configure the following email templates in the SCAYLE Panel:
- Anonymization Initiated →
customer-anonymization-initiated
- Anonymization Cancelled →
customer-anonymization-cancelled
These templates are located under Settings ➜ Notifications & Templates in the SCAYLE Panel.
Panel Permissions
Ensure users have the correct roles in the SCAYLE Panel to anonymize customers.
Permission Key | Description |

Please note that even with the correct permissions once the data has been anonymized, all information will be replaced by "****" in the SCAYLE Panel and are not visible anymore.
Webhooks (Optional)
You can configure a webhook to be triggered on anonymization events.
