Introduction

The SCAYLE Storefront Application is optimized for seamless deployments on various platforms, ensuring compatibility and performance tailored to the SCAYLE e-commerce ecosystem. This chapter guides you through the recommended deployment pathways, including containerized and Node.js-based options, specifically chosen to align with SCAYLE's infrastructure requirements.

The SCAYLE Storefront application supports containerized and direct Node.js-based deployments. However, it is not compatible with edge worker platforms such as Cloudflare Pages, Netlify, or Vercel Edge. For optimal performance and security, please use one of the supported deployment methods.

Learn more about the supported deployment options:

  • Docker: Leverage Docker for containerized deployments, ensuring portability and consistency across environments.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): Use AWS for scalable & customizable cloud deployments, with detailed instructions on optimizing performance and security for your Storefront Application.
  • Vercel: While not supported for edge worker-based deployments, Vercel is suitable for standard deployments within the SCAYLE ecosystem.
