Monitoring

Overview

Monitoring is critical for Storefront Hosting as a PaaS, as it provides essential visibility into your application's health and performance, even though you cannot access the underlying infrastructure. It allows you to understand how your application behaves, identify potential bottlenecks guarantee the continuous reliability and performance of your services for your Storefront users.


Application Logs

"Application Logs" Page access via the "Logs" sidebar section is where you can see the logs of your active Storefront Application deployment.

These logs are like a detailed diary, showing you exactly what's happening inside your application. You'll see important messages here, including errors, warnings, and general activity notes. Using these logs makes it much easier for your team to troubleshoot problems and keep your e-commerce store running smoothly.

Key Features

  1. Timeframe Dropdown: Shows the available time frame periods to list out the application logs (besides default values past 1 hour, also has 1 day or 3 days).
  2. Environments Dropdown: Create & get an overview of listed environments.
  3. Application Logs: Shows a number of available logs per selected time frame period.
  4. Search: Search for a particular application log.
  5. Load Newer Logs: Acts as a quick action item to load newer logs.
  6. Auto-Feed: If enabled, it polls the new application logs automatically.
  7. Load Older Logs: Acts as a quick action item to load older logs.

Application Logs

By default, we show the latest 100 log entries from the last hour.
