Overview

This guide provides information necessary for setting up and using the SCAYLE Contentful Add-on.

Features

The SCAYLE Contentful Add-on connects your SCAYLE Engine with Contentful's headless Content Management System (CMS). SCAYLE is a partner of Contentful and the SCAYLE Storefront includes a default integration that allows you to use Contentful as a CMS. Additionally this Add-on is streamlining backend processes and empowering shop and content managers with features that simplify daily tasks.

The Contentful Add-on allows you to:

connect your SCAYLE Engine with your Contentful space
sync categories created in SCAYLE as Content Types to Contentful. E.g. as Product Listing Pages
search and select the SCAYLE assortment (products and categories) from Contentful via an app installed on your Contentful space

Connect your Contentful account

Enter your Contentful credentials on the Add-on settings page.

Administrators rights required

Go to Add-Ons > Contentful Add-On > Settings.
Enter your Contentful Space ID.
Enter your Contentful Environment ID
Enter your Password (Contentful API Secret).
Click SAVE.
