Store Management

The Omnichannel Add-on is a service that provides omnichannel functionalities to your shops. The service connects physical stores with the e-commerce systems to increase customer service quality and optimize stock usage across all channels.

Stores List Page

The Stores page displays all the available stores and allows you to create new ones. You can search for stores by their name or address and use filters to narrow down the results by country. Click on a store's name to view and edit detailed information about the store.

  1. Go to Add-ons > Omnichannel Add-on > Stores.

Store Details Page

The Store Details page provides all necessary data regarding the store. On this page you can make adjustments and edit store settings, such as the active state, or delete the store entirely.

  1. Go to Add-ons > Omnichannel Add-on > Stores.
  2. Select your store and click the pen icon to pen the Store Details page.
  3. To save your changes, click Save on the right-bottom or -top corner of the page.

Store Details Page Navigation

Use the left side navigation to jump directly to the information you want to view or edit. The page includes the following sections:

Store Details

The Store Details section contains the following fields:

FieldDetails
Store Namethe store name displayed to the customer.
Reference Keyexternal ID of the store (defined during Store Creation and can't be changed afterward).
E-Maile-mail address of the store, which is displayed to the customer.

Address Details

The Address Details section contains the following fields:

Streetstreet name of the store address.
House No.house number of the store address.
Zipzip code of the store address.
Citycity name of the store address.
Country Codecountry in which the store is located in.
Latitudecalculated based on the given address.
Longitudecalculated based on the given address.

Settings

The settings allow you to choose how the Add-on considers the store in its functionalities.

  • Store is Active: when not activated, the store won’t be considered in any functionality of the add-on.

Custom Data

The custom data field allows you to provide additional information beyond the default properties. Custom data is added in JSON format.

Opening Hours

In the Opening Hours section, you can specify the default opening times of the store. When a day of the week is left blank, the store is marked as closed. This section describes the default opening hours of the store per weekday.

The Exceptions section enables you to define dates on which the opening hours differ from the default, for example, on public holidays.

Adding Timeslots

To add timeslots click +Add Hours. In the opened field, you can either use the time-selector by clicking on the clock icon or enter the numbers on your keyboard. Ensure that the different timeslots per day do not overlap.

You can edit existing timeslots in the same manner.

Removing Timeslots

Use the delete icon to remove a timeslot.

Exception Opening Hours

The defined exceptions in this section will override the default opening times on the given days. Additionally, they can be shown separately in the front end to inform the customer about upcoming changes.

Active State

When the exception is not activated by the toggle, it is returned with an isActive=false state in the API.

Open vs. Closed

An exception, with the type OPEN, lets you define alternative opening times. When the type CLOSED is chosen, the store is displayed as being closed.

Media

In the Media section, you can upload new images. You can add JSON custom data to provide additional information about the image.
