Routes & Domains(hidden)

This section details how to manage the domains related to your shop's frontend where the SCAYLE Checkout is deployed, and how the SCAYLE Checkout interacts with your Order Success Page (OSP) route.

Domains Configurable in SCAYLE Panel

Your shop's various domains, critical for the correct functioning and delivery of your e-commerce experience, are primarily configured and managed directly within the SCAYLE Panel.

You will typically need to configure the following domain types:

  • CDN Domain:
    • This refers to the Content Delivery Network domain that serves your shop's static assets (images,) for fast global delivery.
    • Example: cdn.yourshop.com
  • Shop Domain:
    • This is your primary storefront domain, where your customers browse products and initiate the checkout process. This is the main URL for your online store.
    • Example: https://your-shop.com
  • Static CDN Domain:
    • Similar to the main CDN, this might specifically handle static content unique to certain parts of your application or theme.
    • Example: static.your-shop.com
  • Checkout Domain:
    • This domain is specifically related to the SCAYLE Checkout API host and any specific domains configured for the checkout service itself to interact with your frontend securely.
    • Example: https://{{tenant-space}}.checkout.api.scayle.cloud

Adjusting the Configuration

The necessary Routes & Domains configuration, specifically the Shop domain and Order Success Page route, can be conveniently adjusted within the SCAYLE Panel.

  1. Locate Routes & Domains Settings: Navigate to Settings -> Checkout -> Routes & Domains\
  2. Adjust Shop Domain
  3. Adjust Order Success pae route
