Price Campaigns

The SCAYLE Panel allows you to set up price campaigns to discount products for a limited amount of time within a campaign. Price campaigns include a defined range of products and have a specific start and end date.

An overview of all existing price campaigns can be found in the Operations area: Shops > Shop > Discounts & Offers > Price Campaigns. The overview page lists information for each price campaign, such as ID, name, type, start and end date, shops included, and status.

The price campaign status indicates whether a campaign is Active or Inactive. Expired or not yet started price campaigns are automatically assigned the status Inactive.

Note that only one single price campaign can be active per shop. However, it is possible to bundle different product groups (such as women, men, and children) in one price campaign and to discount these product groups as part of one campaign.

Assign Discounted Products to a Campaign

After you create a price campaign, define products and discounts for it as follows:

  1. From the campaign page, select the tab All Products.
  2. Refine the product selection using checkboxes or filters. You can also use the filter function to switch between campaign shops (displaying prices for the respective shop).
  3. Click Change Prices. A menu will open where you can apply the Change and Value (for example, percentage).
  4. Click Change Prices to apply the reduction.

As soon as a discount is assigned to a product, it appears in the tab For Campaign. You can also delete the product from the campaign by removing the discount.

Change Prices window

The entered discount is immediately visible. The price campaigns product table shows the original and new price for each product. Changes are also displayed in both absolute and percentage values.

In the example below, the prices of all products that are part of the price campaign have changed by "-30%". Products with a high price thus show a higher discount than products that originally had a lower price.

Product and discount imports

The SCAYLE Panel provides an import for products and discounts, so you can add, update, and remove a large number of products and discounts to a campaign. For more information on imports, see Imports and Exports.

Edit or delete price campaigns

Edit Price Campaigns

To edit price campaigns:

  1. Go to the overview page and click on the corresponding campaign.
  2. A details page will open in a new window, listing all campaign information. Here, you can see which products it refers to, current prices, and reductions.
  3. Make necessary changes and save.

If you change the campaign end date less than 24 hours before the currently scheduled end, you will receive a warning that some checkout processes may be temporarily slower. The reason for this is cache adjustments.
