Configure
Configure is where you set up the operational details of your Storefront Hosting project -connecting your repository, managing domains and SSL, defining environments and variables, integrating observability tools, and controlling the CDN cache.
Most of what's covered here you'll touch once during initial setup and then revisit only when something changes - a new domain, a rotated token, a new observability integration. It's the section your operational engineers will return to.
Settings scope
Settings in Shops ➜ [Shop] ➜ Hosting ➜ Settings are grouped by scope:
- Global settings apply shop-wide and are shared across all environments. These include your Repository, CLI Tokens, list of Environments, and Monitoring Exporter.
- Environment settings apply per-environment and can differ between Development, Staging, Production, and any other environments you've configured. These include Domains, Environment Variables, Cache, and Authentication.
When configuring a setting, check whether it applies globally or per-environment - global settings are configured once, environment settings need to be configured for each environment where they should apply.
