Public IP Addresses
When your Storefront Application is hosted on SCAYLE, it regularly makes outbound (server-side) requests to systems that you operate or that you protect behind a firewall - for example your own APIs, a headless CMS, a PIM or ERP, a payment, tax or fraud provider, or any third-party service that restricts access by IP address.
All of this outbound traffic leaves our infrastructure through a small, fixed set of NAT Gateway public IP addresses - one set per region, per environment. Because these addresses are stable, you can safely add them to the allowlist (firewall rule, security group, API IP restriction, and so on) of any system SCAYLE needs to reach on your behalf.
These are egress (outbound) addresses - the source IPs that our requests originate from. They are not the addresses your customers use to reach your storefront. For inbound and custom-domain setup, see Domains.
How outbound traffic flows

If the source IP is not on your allowlist, your firewall drops the request, and the storefront feature that depends on it (checkout, product or stock sync, authentication against your systems, and so on) fails. Allowlisting every address for the regions and environments you use avoids this.

Allowlist every address for the regions you use. Outbound requests can originate from any of the IPs listed for your environment and region - the exact address is not guaranteed and can change on failover or scaling. Add all of them to your allowlist rather than relying on a single IP.
These addresses change only rarely, and any planned change is communicated in advance. If you would like to be notified of changes, reach out to your SCAYLE Account Manager
