Pricing & Promotions
Feature Summary
SCAYLE supports three primary discount mechanisms to influence pricing:
- Promotions
- Price Campaigns
- Vouchers
And a checkout feature for orders where discounts fully cover the order total:
- Zero-Value Checkout
Promotions
Broad and rule-based discounts that are added to the items in the basket. The reductions are communicated in the basket view and in the checkout view.
Example: 15% off of all jeans when user is in the customer group “VIP” and has more than 2 jeans in his basket/order

Price Campaigns
Price campaigns include a wider range of products which are relatively discounted in a given period for all customers. Discounts are already presented in the storefront on product listing and product detail pages, as well as in the basket.
Example: Summer sale 20% off

Vouchers
Vouchers are customer-facing discount codes, redeemable during the checkout flow. They can apply an absolute (fixed amount) or a relative (percentage-based) discount to the order. Voucher usage can be restricted by various conditions, such as eligibility for specific brands or a maximum number of redemptions. Please note that only one voucher is permitted per order.
Example: Welcome voucher for registration or Sorry voucher (for delayed delivery)

Zero-Value Checkout
When a combination of discounts — such as a voucher, promotion code, or loyalty points — fully covers the basket total, SCAYLE can allow customers to complete the order without triggering an external payment provider. This behavior is powered by an internal payment mechanism that is invisible to customers and must be explicitly enabled per shop by your Account Manager.
Example: A customer applies a 100% welcome voucher; the order total becomes €0.00 and the order is confirmed without any payment gateway call.
