Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have:
- An active Saferpay merchant account with BLIK enabled.
- API credentials from your Saferpay Backoffice
- Separate credentials for sandbox and production environments.
- Access to a Saferpay test environment for end-to-end testing.
If BLIK is not yet activated for your Saferpay account, please contact the Saferpay support directly.
How BLIK works
- The customer selects BLIK at checkout.
- A 6-digit BLIK code is generated in the customer’s banking app.
- The customer enters the code in the checkout.
- The transaction is confirmed in the banking app.
- The payment is authorized and processed via Saferpay.
BLIK provides strong customer authentication and a smooth checkout experience, particularly for Polish shoppers.
Capture types
Our Saferpay integration supports the following capture modes:
- Instant capture – the payment is captured immediately when the order is placed.
Possible restrictions
Depending on your business needs, you may configure additional restrictions:
- Minimum / maximum basket value (to show BLIK only for specific cart values)
- Country restriction (e.g. offer BLIK only for customers in Poland)
These configurations allow you to optimize payment availability.

Configuration of the payment method
The setup and configuration of payment methods in the SCAYLE panel will be handled by your SCAYLE Account Manager. This ensures all credentials, endpoints, and business rules are correctly applied in both sandbox and production environments.
